Certifications
Certifications that follow some workshops are given after examination to verify the taught body of knowledge either on a practical or theoretical level or both. They do not guarantee expertise, especially if the receivers of such certifications had no prior experience and other types of education or training. Some of these individuals who may prove to be good can work under the supervision of the disciplines they represent. Despite the emphasis on knowledge and expertise, a much greater emphpasis is placed on water safety. Most of all aquatic certifications nowadays, in order to be effective require additional certifications and practical skills in water safety, lifesaving and competent swimming skills. AHF aims to become an examination center, representing some of the most acknowledged certifications worldwide.

STA Aquatic Teaching:
People with Disabilities
Το Σεμινάριο διοργανώνεται από το Aquatic Health & Fitness: Professional Association, ενώ διδάσκουν ο Άρης Μαυρόπουλος, Υποψήφιος Διδάκτωρ του Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών στον τομέα της Κολύμβησης και Μεταπτυχιακές Σπουδές στην Προσαρμοσμένη Κινητική Αγώγη και η Κατερίνα Καπασούρη πτυχιούχος Φυσικής Αγωγής με ειδίκευση στην Προσαρμοσμένη Φυσική Αγωγή (Μεταπτυχιακό Πρόγραμμα ΔΠΘ Πρόληψη-Παρέμβαση-Αποκατάσταση).
Σε αυτό το Σεμινάριο διδάσκονται οι βασικές αρχές και πρακτικές της θεραπευτικής κολύμβησης. Απευθύνεται σε άτομα που θέλουν να γνωρίσουν τον χώρο της κολύμβησης για άτομα με αναπηρία και χρόνιες παθήσεις.
Οι συμμετέχοντες θα εξεταστούν και θα λάβουν Πιστοποίηση από τον Βρετανίκο Φορέα Πιστοποίησης Safety Training Awards με τίτλο STA Level 2 Award in Aquatic Teaching - People with Disabilities.
